Well finally – here it is …. The class schedule for May. We certainly hope that you will feel it was worth the wait with plenty of new classes to tempt you!!

Scrapbooking
We have plenty of new scrapbooking classes on the schedule in a whole range of different styles. Sue has a lovely single layout featuring the beautiful Ambrosia papers. Rachel and Barbara recently attended a workshop by Jane Tregenza for retailers and have two fabulous different Graphic 45 Layouts that are sure to be popular. For those who like something a little simpler there are some great layout featuring the new papers form Authentique and Cosmo Cricket.

Card-Making
We have lots to tempt our card-makers this month including a brand new class showing you how to use the new Distress Markers that are sooooo popular right now!! There is also an amazing Steampunk Suitcase by Barbara that is filled with little mini cards that would make a beautiful gift. We also have a new teacher – Robyn Wood who formerly taught at Stamp Art Studio. Robyn is incredibly talented and will be starting off with a great set of divine vintage inspired cards. For those of you who need to make a lot of cards in a hurry we have 6 Cards in a Snap – where we make 6 fast cards that still look stylish using a set of 6 x6 papers. There are also a range of interactive card classes including an incredible Alice in Wonderland inspired card by Sue Smyth and a Card that looks deceptively like a book by Barbara.
Rachel has some great British inspired cards in which she shows you some great colouring techniques too.

We have plenty of new ideas to inspire you – including some great mini photo displays designed for baby boys and girls as well as a wall hanging using some of the latest papers from Basic Grey.

Well, at last, what you’ve been waiting for. A full suite of classes in Wynnum. With our recent acquisition of Stamp and Scrapbook Madness at Hawthorne, we have brought together a team of papercraft masters to inspire you in these classes. Don’t forget that for all our classes you will need to bring your own basic tool kits which should include the following:
Lead Pencil, Craft Knife, Metal Ruler, Eraser, Double Sided Tape, Glue, Foam Tape and Scissors. If you don’t have these already, they are available for purchase in-store. Classes shown below are for Wynnum, we will also have classes running at Stamp and Scrapbook Madness at Hawthorne, check out the website for details. Hope to see you soon.

YELLOW BRICK ROAD – CARD CLASS

PRIMA GRUNGE – SCRAPBOOKING CLASS

Based on an original concept by Mixed media artist Ana Debrowska this class shows you how to create that highly detailed look that Prima is famous for. AUTHENTIQUE LAYOUT – SCRAPBOOKING CLASS
Saturday 14^th April 10.30am – 12.30pm
In this class Kerrie shows you how to make a beautiful layout using papers from the Authentique Genuine range. The cool denim blues, and creams are offset with yellow to create a classic colour combination. You will learn simple techniques produce to produce stunning effects that look amazing but are incredibly easy to achieve.

CARDS THAT POP AND PULL – CARD CLASS

Susan will show you how to make some innovative cards that are sure to impress as they pop and pull! Using a classic colour combination of cream and blue these cards are innovative and unusual.

Cancellations
Papertrenz reserves the right to cancel or move classes at our discretion and will offer a full refund or transfer to another class. We will try at all times to give reasonable notice if this is to happen. If you wish to cancel a class booking up to 24 hours prior to a class you will receive a full refund or transfer. Classes cancelled after this time can only be transferred to another class. If you do not attend a class without notifying Papertrenz no refund or transfer will be available and your class payment will be forfeited.

Lois & Phil Toop are pleased to announce that we have purchased the Stamp & Scrapbook Madness business from Fiona Philip. Established for over 19 years, Stamp & Scrapbook Madness stock a huge range of craft stamps, as well as scrabbooking papers, tools and embellishments. It also runs classes covering cardmaking, scrapbooking and other papercrafts, as well as Copic marker classes.

We will be getting exciting new stock on a weekly basis, with stock available from both our Papertrenz store in Wynnum, and the Stamp & Scrapbook Madness store at 5/85 Riding Road, Hawthorne.

We will also be running classes at both locations, with full April schedule to be released tonight, so stay tuned.

With the move into our new building, we have now been able to commit a large area on our mezzanine level to the Papertrenz product range. This has anabled us to expand our range, and we have a great new classroom adjacent to the showroom.

We would love to see you in our new store soon.

Lois & Phil Toop are very excited to announce that Papertrenz will be moving to a new home at 1/70 Tingal Road, Wynnum (right next door to our current store), with a grand opening on Saturday 17th March.

We would love to see you on the day to see our great new ranges. There will be a free sausage sizzle from 8am, and lots of giveaways throughout the day.

We will also be relaunching regular classes in our new classroom. Stay tuned for a full programmes of upcoming classes.

Lois & Phil Toop are very excited to have been able to bring the Papertranz business into our store at 74 Tingal Road.  We are busy sorting out our stock ranging and look forward to welcoming you in our store.
